A spirit is the force within a person, believed to give the body life, energy, and power, or supernatural beings or essences. There are three kinds of spirits:
- Breacher: [noun] A spirit that can cause an impact on the corporeal world due to its age or type. Includes poltergeists and archangels.
- Drifter: [noun] A spirit in the æther that has not been banished to the outer darkness or last light. It can still be controlled by clairvoyants.
- Ghost: [noun] A spirit that has chosen a particular place in which to reside, most likely the place in which he or she died. Moving a ghost from its "haunt" will annoy it.
